Hi Hank! We haven't connected in a long time. It's good to hear back from you. I have moved to the Midland/Odessa TX area to be close to my grandkids. I love the family connections I have here. I do understand where you are coming from. I'm still practicing and learning to live in presence and not be too identified with any negative thoughts or emotions that run through my mind.
Life situations can really get to us and we can learn from others that have been there and made it to another way of experiencing life that is free from being so identified with all the negative emotions that tie up our thoughts and feelings and just plain bog us down.
Studying Eckhart Tolle books helped me the most to begin this learning. Then I went online to find a group of people who feel the way I do and found this online community, a social network. It's called Ser Real/Being Real. It is a bilingual group of people because the author and workshop leader is from South America. He has a practice in California and South America. There are some groups in Spanish only and some in English only. I've never physically been to anything he offers but he puts a lot on the websites I'm sending you and does a teleconference call once a month. He also has an e-series that really helps you to begin the work of getting to another way of relating in this world, a way that is filled with more peace and joy.
This is what I've been doing and I suggest it to you too. I hope you will really do it. That's what it takes. Not just hearing about all this help but actually getting out there and doing it. I think 90% of people I tell about this don't get out there and do the work for themselves. It's there and available for all of us. But Hank, it does not feel like work ... it actually feels like finally coming back home!
Listen to the two teleconference classes and sign up for the Emotional Healing e-series at www.cellularmemory.org/index_english.php To listen to teleconferences #1 and #2, click on the first bar of each. Then do the 1-2-3 list he has there and be sure to read his free chapter from his book, The Memory in the Cells. This will really jump-start you learning all this. I study this stuff just like it's a college course. It has helped me tremendously.
Also go to: www.SerReal.ning.com and sign up to be a member. The two internet sites are run by the same person, Luis Diaz. This is an interactive website for the emotional healing work. It's free and there are no worries as far as security. It is a very secure and safe internet place. On the left there is a list of groups you can join. I think the best group to begin is the group called, The Secrets to Emotional Healing with the eagle beside it.
Hank, I truly believe this will give you such good information and help you too. Also, we can connect there when you get online and I'm online. We can discuss some of this. This is the kind of connections we need to make it in this world. At some point I want to go to some of the workshops in person but for now this is how I stay connected.
If you are suffering, there is no need to stay in that place. This will really help you, Hank.

Online communities like these are a huge support to people who are alone and with all the support this site is giving, it sure is a life saver for many who find themselves with no one to turn to!! Through the teleconference classes, which help in emotional healing and the interactive site where you can speak to the person who has started this community, I am sure it is helping hundreds of thousands of people who are in need of emotional help and support!
